History of Spice Packaging
Spice Packaging Solutions is the new brand name of Postal Packaging Limited, a company established in 1982 as a merchant in Aylesbury, selling envelopes and postal tubes. In 1985 the business was moved to Leighton Buzzard to commence the manufacture of paperboard tubes for postal packaging and other light packaging applications.
Building on its success in the postal tube market, in 1989 the business developed an industrial range of cores and tubes to service a number of markets including printing, steel manufacture, etc.
In 1999 the then Postal Packaging invested in labelling equipment in order to develop printed promotional containers for retail and other markets. This opened up many opportunities to supply creatively designed packaging in addition to tubes and cores for industrial markets. In 2000 a seaming machine was purchased to complement the labelled tube container range, creating prestige, premium products like presentation tubes.
The online shop was opened in 2009 and since then both small and large customers alike have benefited directly from the experience gained in manufacturing cardboard tubes and containers for three and a half decades.
Since the mid-80’s the company has had its own transport in order to meet the exacting needs of our customers for fast turnaround. Today, the company still operates its own transport in conjunction with trusted logistics suppliers who have been tried and tested over the years.
